Hello traveler.
Welcome to my site. I've had this site for a few years now and it's always been a work in progress, basically just a playground for new grafix tricks or programming I've learned or wanted to practice. A few years ago and before most sites considered doing it, I took the leap and replaced all HTML table structure with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Now I can redesign the site from one place, one CSS document. I was inspired by CSS Zen Garden and decided to teach myself how to do that. One day I might even get brave enough to submit one of my own designs to the gallery.I'm thinking of making some bumper stickers or something fun with these:
Web design ...
It's something to do in the winter.
Your site doesn't have to be gross.
Try something simple, different, yellow.
Curing the gag reflex across the Web.
Anything worth doing is worth learning.
You might hate computers but your friends don't.
There's lots of reasons why CSS is better, check out this humorous Seybold article if you want to learn more about the history of the Internet, the evolution of graphical programming and all jazz. And hey, guess what... the code here is valid! Well, the CSS anyway. Since I created this site, HTML standards have changed a lot and I've been too busy to go back through and "fix" everything.
The large image on this page should rotate each time you visit. You'll notice when you click one that each has it's own little article or commentary. I felt like doing something fun and interactive.
Welcome to the future of web design.
